William Willkomm, Analyst, has worked in policy, advocacy, and campaigns for a variety of different organizations since 2018. William’s expertise is in legislative procedure and process which he leverages for SMI’s clients.
Prior to working for SMI, he was an American Rescue Plan Act Fellow at the National Association of Counties in the Strategic Relations department where he worked to develop relationships with corporate partners to further the association’s mission. Prior to that, William served as a congressional intern for Senator Susan Collins (ME) and Representative Elaine Luria (VA-02). In these roles, he conducted policy research, handled communication with constituents, and drafted correspondence.
William holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Maine and will soon complete his coursework towards an M.P.S. in Legislative Affairs at the George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management.
