WASHINGTON, D.C. – September 7, 2021: Strategic Marketing Innovations (SMI) announces that Camryn Anderson has joined the firm as an Analyst. Ms. Anderson was an intern at the American Fisheries Society, where she organized member engagement and advocacy efforts promoting conservation and climate policies at the state and federal levels.
Prior to Ms. Anderson’s time at the American Fisheries Society, she was an intern at the International Conservation Caucus Foundation and the German Marshall Fund of the United States, where she assisted with senior staff research on a variety of programs. Prior to that, Anderson served as an intern for Senator Bill Cassidy (LA) where she conducted policy research and supported constituent needs.
With multiple internships in and around Capitol Hill, Ms. Anderson is eager to bring her passion for politics and experience to SMI’s clients. She will be supporting a wide portfolio that includes defense industrial base policy, research, and advanced manufacturing.
Anderson holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Communications, Legal Studies, Economics, and Government, and a minor in Sustainability Management from American University.
