WASHINGTON, D.C. – December 13, 2021: Strategic Marketing Innovations (SMI) announces that Kaycee Beardeaux has joined the firm as an Analyst. Ms. Beardeaux was previously an intern for Senator Brian Schatz (D-HI), where she conducted legislative research and memo drafting for the Appropriations and National Security teams.
Prior to Ms. Beardeaux time in the Senate she worked as a Research Assistant and translator for the George Washington University-DoD Foreign Area Officer Regional Sustainment Initiative, where she supported the development of linguistic and political curriculum relating to Middle Eastern foreign policy. Ms. Beardeaux has also interned with the National Council on US-Arab relations, Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women, and strategic communications firm STG Results.
With diverse internship experience in government and private sectors, Ms. Beardeaux is enthusiastic to bring her expertise on Appropriations and security policy to SMI’s range of clients. Ms. Beardeaux will be supporting a wide portfolio that includes defense industrial base policy, legislative research and advanced manufacturing.
Beardeaux holds a B.A. in International Affairs from the George Washington University Elliott School of International Affairs, specializing in Conflict Resolution and the Arabic language.
