Camryn Anderson, Senior Analyst, has been collaborating with policy and advocacy organizations to champion crucial causes and policies in Congress since 2018. Within SMI, Camryn provides invaluable support to clients by conducting thorough research and analysis on defense industrial base matters.
Prior to joining SMI, Camryn gained valuable experience through an internship at the American Fisheries Society. There, she coordinated member engagement and advocacy initiatives while also advancing conservation and climate policies at both state and federal levels. Additionally, she interned at the International Conservation Caucus Foundation and the German Marshall Fund of the United States, contributing to senior staff research across diverse programs. Previously, Camryn served as an intern for Senator Bill Cassidy (LA), undertaking policy research and assisting with constituent needs.
Camryn holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Communications, Legal Studies, Economics, and Government, and a minor in Sustainability Management from American University.
