Camryn Anderson

Senior Analyst

Camryn Anderson, Senior Analyst, has worked with policy and advocacy organizations to promote important causes and policies in Congress since 2018. Camryn supports SMI’s clients through her research and analysis of defense industrial base issues.

Prior to joining SMI, Camryn was an intern at the American Fisheries Society, where she organized member engagement and advocacy efforts promoting conservation and climate policies at the state and federal levels. She was also an intern at the International Conservation Caucus Foundation and the German Marshall Fund of the United States, where she assisted with senior staff research on a variety of programs. Prior to that, Camryn served as an intern for Senator Bill Cassidy (LA) where she conducted policy research and supported constituent needs.

Camryn holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Communications, Legal Studies, Economics, and Government, and a minor in Sustainability Management from American University.
