Capt. Theodore Hack

Shipbuilding and Submarine Programs Expert
Capt. Theodore Hack (U.S. Navy, ret.) has over thirty years of experience in the U.S. Navy from which he retired as the Assistant Chief of Staff for Warfare, Requirements, Planning and Assessments (N8) for the U.S. Atlantic Fleet.

During his distinguished career, Cpt. Hack commanded both the USS GUARDFISH (SSN 612) and the USS ORION (AS 18). He also worked in the Pentagon as the Director of Navy Programs and Congressional Liaison Officer for Submarine Programs. Upon retiring from the Navy in 1997, Cpt. Hack was General Dynamics’ primary Government Relations liaison with Congress on Electric Boat submarine and submarine-related programs for over sixteen years. During his tenure at General Dynamics, he worked on several very successful programs including SSGN, USS Jimmy Carter, Virginia Class, and Ohio Class Replacement programs.

Cpt. Hack holds a BEEE in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University and also completed Nuclear Power Training and Navy Submarine School. Additionally, he is a recipient of the Navy Distinguished Service Medal.
