Glen Mandigo, Senior Vice President, has been working on advanced materials and technology issues with federal agencies, Congress, companies, universities, and associations since 1995. His specific expertise is in composite materials, power electronics, and university research programs.
Prior to joining SMI, he was the Manager of Technology and Policy Planning for an engineering and management consulting firm working with NASA where he worked on commercial space policy and technology transfer. Before that, Glen worked as a Staff Assistant to the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. Glen started his career as an engineer working on materials and structures for the F-22 fighter aircraft at Lockheed Aeronautical Systems, and on a six-passenger business aircraft for an aerospace manufacturing start up, Advanced Aerodynamics and Structures, Inc.
Glen holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Arizona.
