Jeremy Steslicki, Senior Vice President, supports his clients with strategic consulting and lobbying services across the range of national security issues and programs. With his nuanced understanding of the policy process and an extensive network of congressional contacts, Jeremy pursues his clients’ strategic objectives, with a particular expertise in securing federal funding through the appropriations process. His particular expertise is in defense science and technology programs, Army procurement, defense industrial base issues, Navy policy advocacy, supply chain investment, shipbuilding, and naval research.
Prior to working at SMI, Jeremy worked on Capitol Hill for a decade, most recently serving as National Security Advisor and Director of Appropriations to Senator Tammy Baldwin (WI), a Member of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense. He also worked as a Senior Policy Advisor to former Congressman Sandy Levin (MI-09) and as a Legislative Aide to former Senator Carl Levin (MI), the then-Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
Jeremy holds a B.A. in German Language and Literature from the University of Michigan with a concentration in Political Science.
