LB Fullerton, Analyst, brings extensive experience in tracking defense and international policy trends since 2019. LB supports SMI's clients by conducting research and analyzing matters related to defense and life sciences policy issues.

Prior to joining SMI, LB served as a research intern at the Korea Economic Institute of America (KEI). In this role, she drafted analytical reports on conferences, programs, and hearings concerning U.S.-ROK relations, nuclear armament debates, and economic security. LB also contributed to research assessing North Korea's nuclear weapons and drone capabilities.

Additionally, LB worked as a research intern at the Military Advisor Training Academy with the U.S. Army at Fort Moore. At Fort Moore, she prepared reports offering insights and updates on Sino-North Korean relations relevant to U.S. National Security. LB also briefed military personnel on country profiles essential for deployment and domestic operations.

LB holds an M.A. in Asian Studies with a focus on Korean Studies and International Security Policy from George Washington University. She also earned a B.A. in International Studies with a minor in Asian Studies from Auburn University. Before her tenure at SMI, LB spent a semester abroad at Sogang University in Seoul, South Korea, honing her Korean language skills.
