Patrick Davis, Vice President, has worked with technology organizations to shape public policy and secure federal funding since 2015. His specific expertise is in vehicle, energy, battery, and fuel cell technologies.
Pat has over 35 years of energy related experience, including 21 years at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) where for seven years he served as Director of the Vehicle Technologies Office (VTO), leading the DOE’s research and development in electric vehicle drivetrains, advanced batteries, lightweight materials, advanced combustion and fuels, vehicle systems integration, and Clean Cities deployment activities. Pat was responsible for two major government and industry partnerships: the U.S. DRIVE Partnership and the 21st Century Truck Partnership. He also led the SuperTruck Program, EV Everywhere, and the Workplace Charging Challenges. Pat began his career as a civilian engineer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center focusing on battery technology.
Pat holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
